Data protection at the hotel
Data protection with care and common sense
Your privacy is a top priority at Hotel Brunner. We want you to feel secure both in your room and in the way we handle your information. Here is how we use your data:
Browse our website with peace of mind
Our website uses only cookies that are technically necessary for its operation. You remain in control and can change your settings at any time. We do not collect personal data on our website: if you contact us using a form, your message reaches us directly by email and is used only to deal with your enquiry. Our servers record access only in anonymised form, without revealing your email address or private content.
Secure bookings with our partners
For online bookings, we use the established Dirs21 system. You enter your information in a protected environment, and it is sent directly to us without being temporarily stored on our website’s web server. Once the contract has been fulfilled, the data is deleted or archived in accordance with statutory requirements.
Digital check-in and registration law
To make your arrival as relaxed as possible, we offer digital check-in. The information collected, such as your name, address and date of birth, is mandatory under Bavarian registration law. We securely retain these records, whether digital or on paper, for the legally required period of six months and then destroy them in accordance with data protection requirements. Please note: emails relevant to bookings or invoicing are securely retained for the statutory tax retention periods, generally six to ten years. Other messages are deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved. Our servers also record access only in anonymised form.
Messages from us? Only if you want them!
Our newsletter is sent only using the secure double opt-in procedure. This means that only people who explicitly consent receive it. If we contact you about your booking, this is solely to organise your stay. If you ever receive a message that seems unclear, please let us know straight away.
Any questions?
Data protection is a matter of trust. If you have concerns or would like more details, please speak to us at reception or write to us. We will be happy to take the time to help.
