Alongside recommendations for local restaurants, the hotel’s own Atelier Teufelsbäck and beer garden offer a selection of food and drinks.

For a relaxing soak after a cycling trip, for example, please request a bathtub when booking. Subject to availability, we can allocate one of our five rooms equipped with a bathtub.

As an ADFC-certified Bett & Bike hotel, we meet the requirements for bicycle-friendly accommodation, including secure bicycle storage, drying facilities, repair kits and stays of just one night. Cyclists also benefit from e-bike charging, packed lunches, free Wi-Fi and cooperation with a nearby bicycle workshop.

Please let us know in advance if you will arrive after 18:00. After 22:30, check-in is arranged through our on-call service using the night bell. If there is a wait, Atelier Teufelsbäck is normally open until midnight.

Hotel Brunner protects your privacy by using only necessary cookies, secure external booking processes and statutory retention periods for registration and business records. We contact you for marketing purposes only with your express consent.

Outside opening hours, you can enter using the key fob at the reader by the main entrance. For a late arrival, contact our on-call service through the night bell.

With one or two days’ notice, we can arrange individual breakfast options, including lactose-free, vegetarian or vegan food. Please ask our team for detailed ingredient information.

Breakfast is served from 06:30 to 10:00 on weekdays and from 07:30 to 11:30 at weekends. If you have to leave earlier, we are happy to prepare a packed lunch. From 16:00, enjoy savoury snacks at Atelier Teufelsbäck.

Travel-friendly pets are welcome for an additional charge after advance notice. Please feed them outside the dining rooms and take full responsibility for their care, safety and compliance with local rules. Not all rooms can accommodate pets because of allergies.

Instead of a traditional minibar, we offer an optional room fridge. Reception can switch it on for your own food and drinks or items bought at the hotel. Chilled drinks and snacks are available around the clock from the vending machine on the ground floor.

No. Any remaining credit can be used on a later visit.

Please smoke only in our outdoor areas with ashtrays. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, and the cost of any necessary special cleaning will be charged if this rule is breached.

Paperless check-in using our electronic registration form makes arrival quick and hygienic by using booking details already on file. It collects the legally required registration information, with optional vehicle registration details and newsletter registration.

Quick check-out lets you leave without waiting if a credit card authorisation or written confirmation of company payment has been arranged in advance, or if you paid on arrival. It is particularly useful for business travellers.

We use dynamic pricing to offer the best available rate for your dates. Current discounts and promotions are published on our website and social media. Booking directly with us gives you the best price.

On request, we offer paid room service, laundry and transfers. Electric kettles are also available to borrow free of charge.

We can arrange experiences in Amberg, including culinary walking tours, Plätten boat trips and museum visits. Enquire directly, or choose a special offer that already includes an activity.

Direct bookings made through our website, by phone or by email can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival (14:00 on the previous day). Bookings made through a booking platform are subject to that platform’s cancellation deadlines; please check your booking confirmation.

A free in-room safe is available to keep your valuables secure. If you notice that something is missing after departure, you can contact the hotel team by phone or email.

You can buy charming souvenirs and local art at our reception.

Our central location puts the railway station a two-minute walk away and the bus station three minutes away. Drivers benefit from our own underground car park and easy access to the A6 and A93. Direct trains to Nuremberg and Regensburg take about an hour, making the hotel a convenient base for trade fair visitors.

The hotel is open daily. Reception is staffed from 06:30 to 22:30 on weekdays and from 07:30 to 22:30 on weekends and public holidays. You can reach us by phone around the clock on 09621 / 4970. The neighbouring Atelier Teufelsbäck opens from 16:00 every day except Sunday.

Your room is available from 14:00. If you arrive earlier, we can store your luggage at reception. Subject to availability, you can park in the hotel’s underground car park before check-in; the nearby public car park is an alternative.

Please vacate your room by 11:00. Quick Checkout is available for a speedy departure. If you leave anything behind, you can contact the team by phone or email. We would also be delighted to receive a review of your stay.

The covered bicycle garage in the hotel’s underground car park is kept locked. For security reasons, the underground car park is closed from 22:30 to 06:00. During the day, you can access your bicycle using your room key fob (see the full description). We recommend locking your bicycle. Repair facilities, a bicycle wash facility and e-bike charging are also available. Electric rental bicycles can be arranged through our partner Zweiradhaus Stadler.

Hotel guests can use the bicycle wash facility in the garage free of charge during opening hours. A water connection, hose, cleaning products and basic tools are provided; further tools are available from reception on request.

Do not worry if you leave something behind: the hotel keeps lost property from the hotel and Atelier Teufelsbäck for up to six months. Please contact us by phone or email so we can arrange its return.

The environmental check considers figures for energy consumption, water consumption and residual waste, as well as information about food. The assessment for our hotel dated 15 August 2025 confirms the Gold category. You can view the full assessment as a PDF.

We provide a lockable bicycle garage and a bicycle washing facility. There are also charging facilities for e-bikes and a wallbox for up to two electric cars. Our bicycle page explains our services for cycling guests.

The hotel offers tailored packages for budget-conscious cyclists, such as Radl Kurztrip, Ausschnaufn and Die Auszeit. These are usually seasonal but can be adapted flexibly. After your ride, relax at the neighbouring Atelier Teufelsbäck.

Hotel guests can borrow our multi-speed city bikes free of charge, subject to availability. They are regularly maintained by our partner. We can also put you in touch with external providers for e-bike hire – a service that forms part of our Bett & Bike certification.

We use LED lighting and digital guest information, and prefer to buy from retailers and producers in our area. We also provide storage and charging facilities for guests travelling by bicycle or electric car.

You can pay for your voucher by PayPal, credit card or instant bank transfer.

The hotel accepts major cards (Mastercard, VISA, AMEX and EC), Amberger Stadtgeld and cash, usually payable on arrival. Payment by company invoice requires a written undertaking to cover the costs submitted in advance. The same payment options apply at Atelier Teufelsbäck.

Families can enjoy plenty of space in triple rooms or suites for up to four people. Children aged six and under stay and have breakfast free of charge in their parents’ room. Children aged seven to twelve staying in their parents’ room pay only for breakfast; from age thirteen, the full rate applies. Cots are free, and an extra bed costs €25.00 per night. Our neighbouring Atelier Teufelsbäck is a welcoming place for a relaxed family evening in the beer garden.
