What does Bett & Bike certification mean?

Bett & Bike is the accommodation service of the ADFC (German National Cyclists’ Association). Hotels and guesthouses with Bett & Bike certification meet its quality criteria for bicycle-friendly accommodation.

Every certified establishment must meet these minimum standards:

  • A lockable room for storing bicycles overnight
  • Accommodation for cyclists staying just one night
  • A room for drying clothing and equipment
  • A substantial breakfast
  • Information about local tourism offerings for cycling holidays
  • A basic repair kit

Certification also requires at least three additional services from the following list. The services in bold are available at our hotel:

  • Advice on environmentally friendly travel to and from the hotel
  • A pick-up and drop-off service for cyclists
  • Bicycle loan or hire
  • E-bike or pedelec hire
  • E-bike or pedelec charging facilities
  • Suggested day tours
  • Luggage transfer to the next accommodation
  • Cooperation with a bicycle workshop
  • Navigation device hire
  • Wi-Fi included
  • Packed lunches

Cyclists are well looked after at Hotel Brunner Amberg.
